Problems in Shropshire
Shropshire is not heavily populated and although walking is an important aspect of Shropshire’s growing tourism economy, some of the paths have suffered from neglect. This means that though the rights of way are there, not all of them are easy to follow, and some have serious problems.
PLEASE REPORT ALL PROBLEMS TO THE COUNTY COUNCIL who are responsible for maintaining the network. If they don't know there is a problem, nothing will be done. You can do this online on the County Council’s website Shropshire CC - reporting a problem or by writing to…

Improving Paths
Many of our members are involved in voluntary work such as clearing undergrowth and erecting signposts, stiles and footbridges. Extra help is always welcome: please contact your local Footpath Secretary if you would like to get involved in this work.
